I graduated from Duke University in December of 2012 with the Doctor of Theology (ThD) degree. Because there is no December commencement, I traveled back to campus this past spring to take part in the graduation exercises. (My wife Emily was not able to go because of the birth of our twins a few weeks prior–a unfortunate hindrance for us, although the twins are doing great!) The baccalaureate service for Duke Divinity School was on Saturday the 11th, and the university commencement service was on Sunday the 12th. It was a wonderful milestone to mark in my vocational and professional life. Below are some photos that mark the occasion.
